Description tuxor 2011-07-28 22:09:43 UTC
Description of problem: When using the (panel) menu in the top left corner, clicking on one of the categories brings unintuitive reactions: When hovering a category (e.g. "Games") with my cursor, usually the submenu is displayed (sometimes it isn't!). If I click, the submenu will _disappear_ and won't show up again, until I move the cursor somewhere else and back on the category (here: "Games").

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.32.0-8

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. log in to Gnome fallback mode (e.g. on bad hardware)
2. open the menu in the upper left corner.
3. _click_ on one of the categories

Actual results: The submenu _disappears_.

Expected results: The submenu should show up or stay, if it was already there.

Additional info: I don't have another OS for comparison. So this might be an upstream bug. Furthermore I'm not sure whether there is already another bug report about it. It was hard to determine the right terms to search for...

It's still the same strange behaviour in Gnome Fallback on Fedora 16. But to be honest, I'm not using the fallback mode any more ... ;-)
