Did it already work with older versions, such as 1.0.8? Does burning of this ISO image work with alternative software such as e.g. cdrecord so that in the end there is a mountable media? (In reply to comment #1) Not sure if an older version would work due to no motivation to destroy a lot of medias - think about the environment ;) Normally, I burn with Brasero or Gnomebaker, it uses the "common and general" back-end software that has this curious non-free licence model (no flame war here, plz). Is there anywhere a list of officially supported burner devices? I've found some similar user experiences with the same drive on various forums and sometimes a media from another manufacturer together with slowly burning speed helped. I've tried the same version and the same iso, but haven't noticed any problem. Do you have any problems with other isos too? (In reply to comment #2) > Is there anywhere a list of officially supported burner devices? I'm not aware about such list. (In reply to comment #3) > Do you have any problems with other isos too? Yes. I think also that it is more related to my (too fast?) device..I used mostly wodim in cli mode to burn plain iso files, so no urgent problem at all. In IRC, Robert mentioned that I should report that issue, preferred to upstream. (In reply to comment #4) > (In reply to comment #3) > > Do you have any problems with other isos too? > Yes. That would be good, can you report it to upstream by yourself or should I do it? (In reply to comment #5) > That would be good, can you report it to upstream by yourself or should I do it? Please tell me what information is needed that upstream can reproduce this issue. As much as possible, generally. You can use comment #0 as a basis and attach a link to this bug to see the other comments. EOL of Fedora 14. |
