It appears you were doing a hard drive based install - is that correct? Yes, I was doing a hard drive install using the installation files from the ftp site for a Dell Latitude. I have installed using these disks on two other laptops: an older IBM Thinkpad (300 series) and a Windows 2000/Red Hat Linux dual boot on a Dell Inspiron 7500. The current machine had W2000 on it and I am attempting to use RH as the sole OS. Thanks. Did you put the ISOs in /boot/redhat/ on your system by chance? Closing due to inactivity.
