Package: xine-ui-0.99.6-26.fc15 Architecture: i686 OS Release: Fedora release 15 (Lovelock) Comment ----- Open video file in AVI format. (In reply to comment #3) > Package: xine-ui-0.99.6-26.fc15 > Architecture: i686 > OS Release: Fedora release 15 (Lovelock) > > Comment > ----- > Open video file in AVI format. Can you try with a different xine frontend, such as oxine or gxine, or dragon with xine backend? I suspect this is a xine-lib bug. Can you try with a non-xine player (totem, vlc, mplayer, dragon with non-xine backend, ...)? Totem and mplayer plays the same AVIs fine. Unfortunately I don't know which backend is used in totem. And I'll try test vlc and gxine later. (In reply to comment #5) > Totem and mplayer plays the same AVIs fine. Unfortunately I don't know which > backend is used in totem. And I'll try test vlc and gxine later. Thanks! If you don't know then totem is using the default gstreamer backend. So, the avi is OK, and it would be most interesting if you could test with a xine frontend other then xine-ui, e.g. gxine or oxine. Gxine test result: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [andrey@localhost ~]$ LC_ALL=C gxine warning: configuration item media.capture.save_dir points to a non-existent location warning: configuration item media.dvb.channels_conf points to a non-existent location /home/andrey/.xine/channels.conf lirc: cannot initialise - disabling remote control lirc: maybe lircd isn't running or you can't connect to the socket? Аварийный останов (core dumped) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for testing. Changing component to xine-lib since both xine and gxine are affected. Looks like you're using the ALSA output with the ALSA PulseAudio plugin. Any reason you aren't using the native PulseAudio output plugin? In any case, this crashes in snd_pcm_writei inside the ALSA libs, and the function is called by xine-lib. This message is a notice that Fedora 15 is now at end of life. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version' of '15' have been closed as WONTFIX. (Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.) Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were unable to fix it before Fedora 15 reached end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on "Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that version of Fedora. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. The process we are following is described here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping |
