How to reproduce
-----
1. Running pidgin configured to use a sametime (meanwhile protocol) server
2. Add a new buddy by typing in "Firstname Surname"
3. The "add buddy" dialogue disappears (probably setting up the search)
4. Whilst the "add buddy" dialogue is busy/invisible, load chat window to speak with another existing sametime buddy.
5. Crash occurred (probably when "add buddy" dialogue box was returning with search results).
