Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/setup-2.8.36-2.fc16 then log in and leave karma (feedback). The securetty changes look good for powerpc. I had to compile it up locally as the powerpc builders are a little behind ;P setup-2.8.36-2.fc16 has been pushed to the Fedora 16 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
Created attachment 516596 [details] Add hvsi0 and hvc0 to securetty I recently installed Fedora 16/Rawhide on my power5 system, After getting systemd to spawn a getty on the console (hvsi0) [separate issue], I was unable to log in as root on said getty. Adding entries "hvsi0" to the securetty fixes this. Also I believe that "hvc0" is needed for other powerpc systems and virtual guests.
