Description of problem:
The octave-forge package is not available for EL6.

Not found

Expected results:
Install octave-forge and dependencies.

Additional info:
octave-forge-20090607-17.fc14.src.rpm and all required dependencies build, install, and run on Scientific Linux 6 i386 and x86_64.

octave-forge packages are no longer packaged monolithically. Please install the components you want one by one, or run
# yum install octave-\*

However, not all octave-forge packages have yet been packaged in Fedora. You can, however, use octave's pkg command to install packages locally.
