File: backtrace
This is the same core dump as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=728743 , but hopefully the backtrace is complete. Here is how I described the issue on that report: comment: :I couldn't hear any sounds in the H2 Drum Machine. Before, I didn't have this problem. : :So I clicked the speaker button next to a number that said 120 DB. Then I clicked the play button and it crashed. How reproducible is this? Could you remove some ladspa plugins (such as ladspa-tap-plugin) and try again? If possible, please try to locate the faulty plugin. This happens every time I've tried it (with all of the ladspa plugins that were originally installed, along with lmms). Rarely, just clicking on the grey area to add a sound instantly crashes hydrogen. Sometimes, just clicking on the speaker button crashes it, though that may even be without a sound already placed (i can't remember). If the speaker button is not selected, then it doesn't crash. Removal of lmms made it so that is usually crashes, but not always. Sometimes, it crashes upon exit and discarding changes, though not always. It could just be that I got lucky with non-crashing after removing lmms and testing many times, and that non-crashing is still a (rare) possibility with lmms installed. also, i forgot to mention that removal of all of the ladspa plugins doesn't stop it from crashing with varying frequency. Hi Andrew, I cannot reproduce this bug. Do you mind filing it to hydrogen developers? I will be away for a week with no internet access. They should be able to help you faster. Ok, I've added a ticket with more information here: https://www.assembla.com/spaces/hydrogen/tickets/176-no-sound-in-hydrogen-unless-rhythmbox-is-playing--segfaults--etc--%28fedora-15--64-bit%29 This message is a notice that Fedora 15 is now at end of life. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version' of '15' have been closed as WONTFIX. (Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.) Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were unable to fix it before Fedora 15 reached end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on "Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that version of Fedora. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. The process we are following is described here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping |
