The page instructs you to download a "restricted library" using hp-plugin which gets installed after you "agree to the license terms". Unfortunately, this pretty much sounds as if you need this library to drive your scanner, and that it is proprietary software. We won't ship proprietary software however, nor change our software to automatically install it from a 3rd party source. See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Licensing for details. Sorry that this makes it a bit inconvenient for you. |
