Description of problem:

The soap_bind call will fail on gGSOAP applications binding to IPV4 sockets. The problem is already addressed in the following SourceForge ticket:

Can you please backport the patch?

How reproducible:

Very.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build a SOAP server using gSOAP
2. Have it bind to an IPv4 socket
3. Run server
  
Actual results:

The call to soap_bind( ) will fail. A strace of the run will show:

socket(PF_INET, SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_TCP) = 8
setsockopt(8, SOL_IPV6, IPV6_V6ONLY, [0], 4) = -1 ENOPROTOOPT (Protocol not available)
write(2, "Bind failed, exiting", 20)    = 20

Expected results:

Successful soap_bind call.

Package gsoap-2.8.3-1.fc16:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing gsoap-2.8.3-1.fc16'
as soon as you are able to.
