Description of problem:

My apologies if this isn't actually a bug, as I expect, but I've no idea where to go to ask this sort of question.

I'm trying to get Apache Worker MPM + PHP + MySQL working.  So I have php-zts (either via Fedora 15 or via http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=259461 , which has zts rolled in to the main php) installed and running, but mysql_* functions don't work.  Trying to include the mysql extension gives me this:

PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib64/php/modules/mysql.so' - /usr/lib64/php/modules/mysql.so: undefined symbol: core_globals in Unknown on line 0

It may be that this is simply impossible?, but if not I'd like to know how to make it work.  Thanks.

This is not a bug: no extension are provided for the php-zts module.

Mainly because all libraries used by extension are not 100% thread safe

If you really want to try an experimental build, check the RPM in "remi repo" (which have all standard extensions for zts)

@joe what do you think about enabling zts extension in fedora build ?
