Description of problem:

Starting Xorg without xorg.conf and relying on HAL causes it to load vesa driver instead of ati on Radeon X600

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.5.14-11

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Xorg without having any xorg.conf file
  
Actual results:
/var/log/Xorg.0.log reports loading of vesa

Expected results:
loaded driver should be ati

Additional info:

Reproducible on X600, most other GPUs worked correctly

Please attach output of lspci -nn with the affected gpu also attach dmesg
