Description of problem:
I've noticed that if my USB Camera (Canon IXUS) is plugged when starting up the computer gnome-shell fails to start up at log in but instead throws a little pop-up telling me about an unspecified fatal problem and advices me to log out.

Unplugging the camera solves the problem.

Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plug in camera and turn it on
2. start up the computer
3. Try to log in

In $HOME/.xsession-errors, the following lines can be seen:

(gnome-settings-daemon:2120): updates-plugin-WARNING **: failed to open directory: Error opening directory '/run/udev/firmware-missing': No such file or directory

(gnome-shell:2161): GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitor-WARNING **: invoking IsSupported() failed for remote volume monitor with dbus name org.gtk.Private.GPhoto2VolumeMonitor: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

This message is a notice that Fedora 15 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version'
of '15' have been closed as WONTFIX.
