Description of problem:
boot rhel3.9 host with >=4GB memory, display below kernel panic info:
Kernel panic: pci_map_single: high address but no IOMMU.

boot rhel3.9 host with <4GB memory, host boot successfully.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
host kernel:2.4.21-50.EL

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install rhel3.9(x86_64) host on AMD platform and physical memory >4GB 
2. boot host after installed.

Actual results:
kernel panic

Expected results:

boot successfully
Additional info:
if boot rhel3.9 i386 with >=4GB, it work well.

  your mean is that hardware maybe not support rhel3.9 system,right? if so,can you tell me how to verify? i tried to use kvm to install rhel3.9 with >=4GB, it has the same issue.

Is the system listed under http://www.redhat.com/hardware (for RHEL3)?
