It's likely this is addressed by the change Ken made for bug 756446. Andrew, if you agree, you can set this to POST. Seems to me very likely to be the same bug. setting to post. Fixed upstream at http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&rev=1207877 VERIFIED RHEL6.2 (i686/ x86_64) no coredump generated within 500runs
