This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. If you would like it considered as an exception in the current release, please ask your support representative. I was unable to reproduce. Can you try to create a fresh user and reproduce with new account? Also what is your output of "rpm -q xfig" rpm -q xfig gives: xfig-3.2.5-22.a.1.el6.x86_64 I removed the symbolic link in /usr/lib/X11, created a new user, and the new user's xfig works perfectly. Unfortunately, the xfig in my user account still says it cannot find the correct app-defaults/Fig file. I don't know what is wrong, but it may not be a "bug" in RHEL. You most likely modified one of XFILESEARCHPATH, XUSERFILESEARCHPATH, XAPPLRESDIR in your environment so X cannot find resources Xfig is asking for. Check your environment, possibly also ~/.Xdefaults file for changes. |
