Description of problem:
I've run gtypist as:
$ gtypist
(null): i18n problem: invalid value for msgid "Y/N": Д/Н
Application doesn't start.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.8.3-3.fc15

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8 gtypist
  
Actual results:
Application doesn't start with error message '(null): i18n problem: invalid value for msgid "Y/N": Д/Н'

Expected results:
Normal application work in Russian.

Additional info:
Also this bug present in version 2.8.5.
If I'll execute gtypist as 'LANG=C gtypist', application work correctly, but on English.

I've sent this bug on bug-gtypist and from developer have answer (see attachment).

May be you can build packages for Fedora 15 and 16 with UTF-8 support enabled.

This has been fixed upstream (in gtypist 2.9), which now supports UTF-8.

gtypist-2.9-1.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15.

Package gtypist-2.9-1.fc15:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 15 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing gtypist-2.9-1.fc15'
as soon as you are able to.

gtypist-2.9-1.fc15 has been pushed to the Fedora 15 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
