Description of problem:
Whenever resizing window,  gnome-shell eats memory.

gnome-shell total kB increases by 2840  or  9608 or 8692 or 4696 kB in pmap -x.

gnome-shell memory usage increases  by 0.2% in top(total physical memory 4GB)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch gedit 
2. See gnome-shell memory usage with top or pmap
3. Resize gedit window.
