Description Eduardo 2011-09-05 20:54:34 UTC
Description of problem: When using the package as available on EPEL, netcdf support was not included at compile time. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):4.4.4-11.el6.2 Looking at the spec file, it is not called explicitly when running the configure utility, since it is a default option. Even after adding "--with-netcdf", the configure script can't find netcdf.h, as one of the patches (dx-rpm.patch, line 178) forces the configure script to look for the header file in /usr/include/netcdf/netcdf.h but for el6 this file is located in /usr/include/netcdf.h Modifying this patch resolves the issue and netcdf support is compiled.
