I see this is crashing near libtalloc/libtevent functions. There is a pending update for these in updates-testing, same as for samba4 and openchange built against them, together with evolution-mapi and other evolution packages updated to 3.0.3. The update of evolution packages will be put into one with that on libtevent soon. When it's done, could you retest with evolution-mapi-3.0.3-2, please? It's very surprising to me that this started to crash suddenly. I'm receiving quite many duplicate issues for this, with a very similar consequences, and the user is using libtevent-0.9.13. This started very recently, approximately around the time you did the update for libtevent, thus I'm wondering whether it's related or not. This started very recently, approximately around the > time you did the update for libtevent, thus I'm wondering whether it's related > or not. I would tend to doubt it. FWIW I'm using Evolution 3.0.3 on F15 with libtevent 0.9.13 as well and haven't hit this myself. There were no changes in tevent that I know of except for fixing the incorrectly identified interface version. *** Bug 740875 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to comment #19) > I would tend to doubt it. Thanks for the update. I do not understand this, though, because it works for you, it works for me, but Sly has so many issues around this (it's crashing in talloc, not tevent, actually). Sly, could you try updating to libtalloc 2.0.6? It fixed some bugs that might be relevant. I'm not sure if is of any help, but I've noticed the crashes happen when it deals with the Exchange 2010 server. Especially when I look up a contact. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version' of '15' have been closed as WONTFIX. (Please note: Our normal process is to give advanced warning of this occurring, but we forgot to do that. A thousand apologies.) Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, feel free to reopen this bug and simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were unable to fix it before Fedora 15 reached end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on "Clone This Bug" (top right of this page) and open it against that version of Fedora. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. The process we are following is described here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping |
