Description of problem:

Installed Centos 5.5 then I installed KDE Desktop and then from there installed KVM from the Packet Manager. When I start Virt-Manager I get this error:

Unable to open a connection to the libvirt management daemon.

Libvirt URI is: qemu:///system

Verify that:
 - The 'libvirtd' daemon has been started

Details:

Unable to open connection to hypervisor URI 'qemu:///system':
libvirt.libvirtError no connection driver available for qemu:///system
None

So I enter "service libvirtd start" into terminal and try again but same error. After some searching on the net I found out that the QEMU does not install with KVM so I run "yum install qemu" and it installed no problem, rebooted and same error.

What's the output of

lsmod | grep -i kvm
dmesg | grep -i kvm
