Description Jens Petersen 2011-09-09 07:54:12 UTC
Description of problem:
Quite often one may want to rename or change the name of a guest.
It would be nice if virt-manager supported this.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install a guest with incorrect name or maybe upgrade guest to newer version
2. realise name could have been better or want to change it

Actual results:
2. can't do anything about it easily except reinstall

Expected results:
2. should be able to change the name at least in virt-manager
but better on disk to desired name.

You can actually, the guest just needs to be turned off. Details->Overview. Please reopen if that causes any problems.
