I see exactly the same behaviour (blinking) on Samsung N130. The fix for this seems to have fallen into a black hole: https://lkml.org/lkml/2011/4/20/1 https://lkml.org/lkml/2011/5/11/548 See: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=747560#c3 for some possible workarounds. Patch from comment 2 has been applied to the f15 kernel and should be in the next update (probably 2.6.40.8). kernel-2.6.40.8-2.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/kernel-2.6.40.8-2.fc15 Package kernel-2.6.40.8-2.fc15: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 15 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing kernel-2.6.40.8-2.fc15' as soon as you are able to. Yes, it's in Linus' tree already. kernel-2.6.41.1-1.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/kernel-2.6.41.1-1.fc15 kernel-2.6.41.1-1.fc15 has been pushed to the Fedora 15 stable repository.
