One of the rpm top FAQ's, this... In RHEL-5 the group, summary and description are coming from specspo even for English. The system was changed somewhere around Fedora 9, but changing it for RHEL 5 at this point is not feasible. To update any of the tree, specspo update is needed. Alternatively 'rpm -e specspo' to see the actual data from headers instead of what was at some point stored into specspo. Closing as NOTABUG. Thank you for the information. |
