Description Ted 2011-09-19 16:04:05 UTC
Description of problem:
Ran a yum update and emerald was removed when compiz updated to version 0.9.5. GTK window decorator is completely unusable on my quad monitor setup (when I type, my text goes into the last monitor that I moved my mouse out of instead of the one the mouse is currently in).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
nvidia quattro video card running nvidia proprietary driver (4 monitors).
compiz-0.9.5.0-3.fc15.x86_64
xfce4-4.8.1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Update to compiz-0.9.5
2. Emerald disappears
3. Desktop experience ruined by gtk-window-decorator

Actual results:
The desktop becomes so broken that compiz has to be disabled in its entirety

Expected results:
Emerald remains installed, and the desktop continues to be usable.

Additional info:
Please put emerald back or fix gtk-window-decorator.

Emerald has been removed from the repo's as it's no longer maintained upstream.
The gtk decorator works fine here with XFCE.
