The latest seabios version does not report s3/s4 state and thus the OS is not expected to hibernate. We do know we have bugs and they should be fixed for 6.3 |
Created attachment 525125 [details] logs Description of problem: after in stalling rhevm-tools on vm with OS XP, I tried putting the vm in hibernation (internal hibernation). the vm got stuck with "preparing for hibernation" and it's cpu remains on 100% Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ic142 vdsm-4.9-104.el6.x86_64 qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.184.el6.x86_64 libvirt-0.9.4-7.2.el6.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. install XP OS on Virtual server 2. install rhevm-tools 3. Actual results: only servers with XP OS will get stuck when trying to put vm into internal hibernation Expected results: servers should not be stuck Additional info: attached logs.
