Description of problem:

Per jsherrill, this user exists only for showing segments of the UI when there is no actual logged in user. It's apparently not actually possible to login with this user either (though I guess one might be able to provide a password which might in turn cause bigger issues...).  In any case, if this user is not really "usable", we should hide it in both the API and UI
