Actually, I am confused. In systemsettings, under Personal Information, there are 2 tabs: Akonadi Resources KDE Resources In the Akondai Resources, one can set up a personal calendar to use the ics file like I want, as described in my Description above. This works in Korganizer. So, what is KDE Resources for? Have I been setting this up needlessly? I think it is redundant, since Akonadi already links to the ics file. "KDE Resources" is the old kres framework, which was used by kdepim apps before Akonadi. (In reply to comment #2) > "KDE Resources" is the old kres framework, which was used by kdepim apps before > Akonadi. I am aware of that, Kevin. Thanks. But my question was: Do I need to configure it anymore? I think not, since I am using Akonadi. Right? (Anyway, this is not a bug). Right, configuring kres shouldn't be needed anymore, unless you're using some old app which still uses it. |
