Description Tim Waugh 2011-09-30 09:08:27 UTC
Description of problem:
I have an empathy conversation window showing, but the main window is not showing. I try to start it from the GNOME shell by selecting 'New window' from the application context menu for the Empathy icon in the overview, but no window appears. In .xsession-errors:

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module"

(empathy:2266): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid uninstantiatable type `(null)' in cast to `GtkWindow'

** (empathy:2266): CRITICAL **: empathy_window_present_with_time: assertion `GTK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
empathy-3.1.92-1.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:
Not sure.

Can you see if you get this bug with the latest version in bodhi (empathy-3.2.0-1). I pretty sure this is fixed in that version. Thanks!

Comment 2 Tim Waugh 2011-09-30 14:05:35 UTC
Seems to work fine with that version, thanks.

Comment 3 Brian Pepple 2011-10-04 14:11:53 UTC
Closing since this should be fixed in the latest version. If the problem persists, don't hesitate to reopen this bug.
