Description Tom WELLS 2011-10-04 02:53:26 UTC
I set the following tags for a search:

Assigned Writer: twells
Release: EAP 6 Alpha, EAP 6 Beta, EAP 6.0

When I clicked the search button, the search results did not include twells amongst the criteria, and returned all 877 topics for the three EAP releases. After clicking "Back to Search", I found the writer tag was not selected, but the releases were.

I tried this again with each of the writers on EAP. Only seanr provided different results. I also tried this with all the writers selected, and once again only got results for seanr. Everyone else was cleared upon click search.

The issue arises when a tag is located under two projects. Even though there is only one tag, it is listed in two different locations in the search UI. Even though the tag might have been selected under one project, it was then being unselected because it was not ticked under the second project.

The code has been updated so that a tag under multiple projects is added to the search query if it is selected just once in the UI.

Closing the bug because it is impossible to test without overlapping tags, which does not occur in the production database.
