Description Vivek Goyal 2011-10-04 15:13:38 UTC
Description of problem:

I am trying to install rhel6.1 using beaker "manual" option. I wanted to add some iscsi targets manually. But beaker passes a ks= option and anaconda does the manual install but somehow does not display the screen which can be used to do the advance storage configuration.

In RHEL5.7, I can use advance storage screen with "manual" option with kickstart passed in.

So looks like this needs to be fixed.

What options are passed to anaconda on the boot: line and what kickstart file is supplied?

I just pass "vnc" as an additional command line option to anaconda. Can't think of anything else unusual.

Can you attach /tmp/*log from the anaconda environment? Individual attachments, plain text, please.

Reassigning to beaker and my best guess at a component per comments #6 and #7.

Comment 14 Bill Peck 2011-10-04 18:28:41 UTC
this will probably go in 0.8.1

Comment 15 Bill Peck 2011-10-04 18:30:38 UTC
setting to 0.7.4 for now.. probably will be bumped to 0.8.1 but need to keep it on the radar.
