Description of problem:

system-config-lvm displays incorrect, misleading information about LUKS encrypted logical volumes which could potentially lead an inexperienced user astray.  The inaccuracy of the displayed information suggests there may be underlying issues with the support for LUKS in general.

How reproducible: Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create one or more encrypted logical volumes during Fedora installation.
2. Run system-config-lvm.
3. Examine the properties panel for the encrypted logical volumes.
  

Actual results:

In the properties panel for mounted, encrypted logical volumes that are configured to be mounted on boot and have EXT4 file systems it shows - 
Mount Point: Unmounted
Mount Point when Rebooted: None
File System: No Filesystem


Expected results:

Display correct information under Mount Point, Mount Point when Rebooted and File System for encrypted logical volumes.  Also indicate that this is an encrypted logical volume.


Additional info:

The official Fedora installation guide recommends the use of LVM over physical partitioning, leaving spare disc space unallocated during install to be allocated later as required, and encrypting at least /home.  Consequently it is important that the Logical Volume Management tools included with Fedora properly support encrypted logical volumes.

Thanks for reporting this bug but system-config-lvm lacks support for encrypted volumes at all. System-config-lvm is deprecated and one of the new tools should be used instead.
