Description Oliver Henshaw 2011-10-05 11:47:26 UTC
Description of problem:

There's a stable 64-bit flash now so firefox.x86_64 can run it through its own plugin-container rather than needing the 32-bit->64-bit wrapper. I believe plugin-container has lower overhead than nspluginwrapper, as a bonus.

I don't think that there's any compelling reason left to install nspluginwrapper by default. So nspluginwrapper should at the least be removed from the list of default packages in the graphical-internet group.

Okay, let's remove it. Flash is 64-bit now and runs in plugin-container anyway.

Comment 2 Bill Nottingham 2011-10-14 18:17:33 UTC
Done.
