Description Horst H. von Brand 2011-10-05 14:26:57 UTC
Better say something like:

Copy /lib/systemd/postgresl.service to /etc/systemd/myservice.service, adjust PGDATA and PGPORT in the new file. To set it up, run

sudo postgresql-setup initdb myservice

(I assume that is what the release notes try to say? What happens with the "standard" instance? What if the variables don't get adjusted right?)

Much more clear - commit f74aaad8ceee80f7bcc80e19845f42e40406947c
