If anyone else is experiencing this bug, refer to the freedesktop bug tracker: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42160 I too am experiencing this problem. It seems to be related to having httpd running also. I use httpd for database entry and retrieval so .... I almost always have it running. I do not remember it being a problem before install / starting httpd. Does not always happen either so.... it is fustrating as to whether I will have to restart to get the cursor back.
