well, with a current f15 to f16 yum upgrade you won't be able to run grub-install, because grub is removed. you only have grub-efi and grub2. can you re-test with the affected system and see if it boots after upgrade if you *don't* run grub-install? Adam, Thank you for addressing this issue -- I don't have anymore f15 around to try yum upgrade. okay, let's close this as missing data then. |
