Alert appears when executing 'service --status-all' as root user Does an output look as you expect? Should allow it. This is the present output: ~]# service --status-all httpd.service - The Apache HTTP Server (prefork MPM) Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/httpd.service; disabled) Active: inactive (dead) CGroup: name=systemd:/system/httpd.service IPsec stopped netconsole module not loaded Configured devices: lo p2p1 Currently active devices: lo p2p1 sandbox is running it is working again after executing: # grep ps /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp and the SELinux alert appears no more. So it is resolved after following the suggestion of the SELinux troubleshooter. Guess it is an intended behaviour. Fixed in selinux-policy-3.10.0-39.fc16 Thank you. Every domain that executes ps will need this access. selinux-policy-3.10.0-40.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/selinux-policy-3.10.0-40.fc16 Package selinux-policy-3.10.0-40.fc16: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days.
