Description of problem:

On a fresh installation of torque-server, running pbs_server for the first time by running /etc/init.d/pbs_server start will hang. Also, the command to create a server database file hangs (/etc/init.d/pbs_server create).

torque-server-2.5.7-2.el5.1

How reproducible:

Easy

Steps to Reproduce:
1. /etc/init.d/pbs_server stop
2. rm -f /var/torque/server_priv/serverdb 
3. /etc/init.d/pbs_server start
  
Actual results:

Hangs at step 3.

Expected results:

Returned prompt.

From memory these el5 and 4 packages are still using an old init.d from before the recent big upgrade.... 

I should now be able to migrate to the upstream one sinnce it a few fixes added quite recently.

* was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing torque-3.0.2-4.fc16'
as soon as you are able to.
