Description of problem:
I'm facing this issue on -202+

But only on my laptop, not on my workstation, that is weird. I've already tried to reinstall kernel, regenerate initrd and also put init=/sbin/init or init=/bin/bash as kernel option

kernel-2.6.32-202.el6

Since RHEL 6.2 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

I did the clean install and the problem disappeared.

So I would close this issue.
