Description of problem:
This netbook has a sleep key (Fn + Esc), it used to put the machine to suspend mode. Lately it doesn't work anymore. As now the Gnome shell doesn't offer suspend, just power off, suspending this machine is at least awkward (need to check the command tool).

Each time ;-)

BTW, some other Fn combinations do work (i.e., Fn + F2 == battery starts the power statistics application)

BTW, pm-suspend run from a terminal does suspend the machine.

Just tried again after today's round of updates. Now the machine suspends without a hitch.
