Thanks for the bug report.
This seems to be a gstreamer bug (buried deep in gtk+gst code and nothing in whaawmp):
Thread 1 (Thread 0x7f2043dc7720 (LWP 5364)):
#0 degas_type_find (tf=0x7fffa237bd20, private=<optimized out>) at gsttypefindfunctions.c:4026
len = 158660608
data = 0x0
resolution = <optimized out>
n = <optimized out>
#1 0x000000362b8873d3 in gst_type_find_factory_call_function (factory=0x2419ad0 [GstTypeFindFactory], find=0x7fffa237bd20) at gsttypefindfactory.c:224
new_factory = 0x2419ad0 [GstTypeFindFactory]
__PRETTY_FUNCTION__ = "gst_type_find_factory_call_function"
[snip, more gst code]
It looks like somehow data references a NULL pointer above.
There are other totem, rhytembox and tracker bugs which have the same issue, so closing as a dub of that.
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 738604 ***
