Its a small change in the resource file but too late for it now since it will mandate new whql. Moving to 6.3 Thanks for quick reply. Please also have a look on NIC's file description on its properties page. The file descriptions of balloon, serial and block are 'Red Hat VirtIO Balloon driver',' Red Hat VritIO Serial driver' and 'Red Hat VirtiIO SCSI driver'.Only NIC show users 'NDIS Miniport Driver'. Changed copyright string for NIC driver to "Copyright (C) 2008 Red Hat Inc." and the description of the file to "Red Hat NDIS Miniport Driver". The years should be different as the drivers were introduced during different time. The issue is not reproduced in virtio-win-prewhql-0.1-19 Verified the bug on virtio-win-prewhql-0.1-20 1.install OS and install driver from Device Manager 2.check the driver version from Device Manager and c:\Windows\system32\drivers right click to check each driver's the properties The results of win2k3-32/64 is "Cpupyright(C) 2008 Redhat Inc" The results of win2k8-R2 is "Cpupyright(C) 2008 Redhat Inc" The results of win2k8-32/64 is "Cpupyright(C) 2008 Redhat Inc" The results of win7-32/64 is "Cpupyright(C) 2008 Redhat Inc" base on above testing results, the issue should be fixed.
