Description of problem:
My rawhide system get upgraded every time and my user account still had a GID of 500.

system-config-users creshes when started

also, gdm doesn't display the account

Steps to Reproduce:
1. login into X
2. open a terminal (optional)
3. start system-config-users
4. try to change user picture of account with GID < 500
  
Actual results:
crash

changed picture

Sorry for the late response, this dropped off the radar :-(.

Anyway:

- AIUI gdm uses the UID_MIN value from /etc/login.defs, to display your user you need to lower this value again (probably along with GID_MIN).
- system-config-users can't change your user picture, this is done e.g. in System Settings -> User Accounts (which is a different thing)
- To debug the crash, please run system-config-users from the command line (e.g. a terminal window) and post any output (e.g. error messages, a traceback describing where it crashes).

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
