Description of problem:
USB mouse stops working after a suspend/resume action.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 15
Kernel 2.6.40.6-0.fc15.x86_64


How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plug an USB mouse (make sure it works).
2. Suspend the computer.
3. Resume it.
  
Actual results:
USB mouse no longer works until unplugged and plugged in again.

Expected results:
USB mouse should keep working.

Additional info:
This problem occurs in every Fedora 15 kernel I've test it on. It works fine under similar kernels on other distros (i.e. Arch Linux)

Other devices (USB disks, etc) do work after resume. Just USB mouse fails.

It fails no matter what USB port it's plugged in.

'dmesg' states the following

I assume the "USB disconnect" part refers to the mouse.

I think I have the same issue. I am on Fedora 14 with all the latest updates. With both a wired and a wireless bluetooth mouse on bootup the mouse works fine. After suspend the mouse stops working. Reboot and all is good again.

Currently using Fedora 16, kernel 3.3.7

Works fine so far!!! :-)

I'm running Fedora 16, kernel 3.3.7. The mouse usually comes back following a suspend however if I plug in another USB device eg thumb drive and it suspends then the mouse doesn't come back.

(I've got Fedora 17 running in a VM, give it another week or two and I'll install it as my primary and test there).
