Description of problem:
In the LiveCD beta 16 I asked to shut down, which took ages. Pressed ESC and then went back, now the logo shows up dead center and a white mask for it near the upper left corner of the screen.

How reproducible:
Tried several times, always the same

1. Shut down
2. ESC when the logo shows up, then go back to the graphics

Tried just now on another machine and rawhide up to date (Samsung N210 netbook with the builtin monitor), same result. But only when shutting down, not when booting.
