Description Albert Stevens 2011-10-12 06:45:54 UTC
In the current 3.2.0 version of Evolution the support for GroupWise has been removed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.2.0

How reproducible:

Try to add a GroupWise account. It will not appear in the list of possible backends.

Additional info:

I think the Exchange and GroupWise connectors have been moved to seperate packages upstream. But Fedora only includes the Exchange connector.

Thanks for a bug report. You've right, in 3.2.0 was the groupwise code split out to a separate project and no package was added to fedora yet. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. The quick workaround would be to compile evolution-groupwise yourself, with installed devel packages for evolution-data-server, evolution, libsoup, glib and probably few others, which should be brought in by installation of evolution-data-server-devel. You can get current version of evolution-groupwise from
   http://download.gnome.org/sources/evolution-groupwise/3.2/

Thank you for the comment i've managed to get it working :). Hope it will be included though as my rpm skills are dodgy at best.

Regards,

Albert-Jan

Comment 3 Matthew Barnes 2011-10-28 13:17:09 UTC
I've added evolution-groupwise to the Fedora package maintainers wishlist:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Package_maintainers_wishlist

Someone with access to a real GroupWise server will have to pick up maintainership.

Closing as DEFERRED.

I managed to build a rpm, and would like to share it. what to do next?
