I don't think this is something we should add to the UI. virt-manager is supposed to be an end user tool: if a user is sufficiently interested in trying boot.kernel.org or similar, they should be able to figure out how to make it work with virt-manager. Maybe a blog post of similar documenting how to do it with virt-manager/virt-install would be helpful? Thanks for the report, but closing as WONTFIX.
