Description Randy Zagar 2011-10-12 16:09:35 UTC
Description of problem:
I am attempting to remove several systems from a system group. When I click on the checkbox on the left side of a system name, the system does not get "selected". The upper right corner of the screen continues to say "NO SYSTEMS SELECTED [ MANAGE | CLEAR ]"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the System Group Manager in RHN
2. Select a group, and list the systems
3. Attempt to select a system

Actual results:
NO SYSTEMS SELECTED [ MANAGE | CLEAR ]"

Expected results:
"1 SYSTEM SELECTED [ MANAGE | CLEAR ]"

This is working as designed. The systems in group page is somewhat special as the selection checkboxes do *not* place the systems in the SSM (global System Set Manager), and therefore they do not affect the "Systems selected" counter in SSM. The selection checkboxes still, however, affect the per-page selection
display (right side of the table header itself) which shows something like
"1 - 12 of 12 (3 selected)" and that's what the 'Remove from Group' get its target from. If *that* functionality is broken, please reopen the bug.
