Created attachment 527927 [details] after switching spicec to fullscreen and back Description of problem: Switching /usr/libexec/spicec (spice-client rpm) to to fullscreen and back causes that applications are being maximized over multiple displays except of one like in usual case. Setup: T400 with: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:2a42] (rev 07) Display layout is laptop display + extended display on the right side (see xrandr output) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: ! ensure that you have extended display (1+1) Steps to Reproduce: 1. desktop-effects enable compiz .... 2. connect with spice client to host/guest (I'll provide access + howto on request) 3. shift+f11 in spicec (to get out/in of fullscreen) 4. maximize application 5. desktop-effects turn of compiz 6. turn on compiz 7. repeat 3-7 Actual results: each time when spicec enter/exits fullscreen and compiz is enabled then any application maximizes over both screens (which is unwanted behavior) Workaround: turn off/on compiz and unless you're not using spicec you're fine Expected results: spicec shouldn't break default maximizing behaviour Additional info: * client screen blinks several times while synchronizing guest and client resolution so there is something in X that breaks compiz.
