Select a number from what? It might be handy to have a way to see all existing priority, is that what you mean? Upstream ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/ticket/1977 Currently, the help hint indicates "Priority of the policy (higher number means lower priority)"....which is good, but yes - would be handy to see available/existing priorities. This came up as a suggestion during the IPA training. The priority column has been added to the password policy list page (ticket #1977). The policy sorting based on priority will be implemented in: https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/ticket/2045 Upstream commit for ticket 2045 in master: 8956fdbf40fab0259f65144678d1ffcc759771d9

This doesn't fix or add the RFE as expected. But changes were made so that when policies are added, they are sorted and displayed in order of their priorities. Verified taking steps: Add a 3 groups Add a pwpolicy for each of these...but when adding give varying priorities in no particular order. Verified that when displayed, they are in order of their priorities ipa-server-2.2.0-12.el6.x86_64 Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
